After a storm, an emotional roller coaster and a major change everything is different. Change is hard and change is good. It twists, turns and upends our energy, and at somepoint in all the mess and beauty of a storm there is hope. Hope breaks through.
I started this painting while still in Vermont and then wrapped it up and made the move to finish in New York. Sometimes starting something at one moment in time and finishing it at another is exactly what was meant to be. There is turnmoil in a major shift of energy; creating new colors, forming new textures and always pushing forward. With movement there is hope and new beginnings.
